LAHORE: The Lahore High Court rejected the petition against the amendment of the law regarding the appointment of the Chairman NADRA of the serving military officer as inadmissible.
Justice Faisal Zaman pointed out that the matter is now under hearing before a 2-member bench and it will be decided in appeal.
Petitioner Ashba Kamran’s counsel argued that the caretaker government had no power to amend Section 7, the court held that the court had already given major relief on the issue, so why was this petition filed.
Section 7 was not challenged in the petition, the court ordered the DPO Sheikhupura to produce the children before the court on September 27 on the Indian woman’s plea for recovery of the children.
