Peshawar: In the case related to the recovery of missing 4 brothers, the court summoned the interior secretary and the chief secretary.
A hearing was held in the Peshawar High Court on the petition filed for the recovery of the missing 4 brothers from Hayatabad, in which Additional Advocate General Inam Yousafzai told the court that the JIT report had been submitted, on which the petitioner’s lawyer Nader Shah Advocate He said that the court had ordered to recover the missing persons and then submit the report.
Justice Ijaz Anwar remarked that the JIT report has been seen, it has asked the family of the petitioners. Police and agencies should have been asked. The Additional Advocate General said that there is a family issue and there was suspicion on his brother.
The court said that this is very inappropriate, instead of fulfilling their responsibility, the agencies put the responsibility on the brother. The Additional Advocate General said, “Let us know, who is suspected, and file an FIR against him,” to which Justice Ijaz Anwar remarked that an FIR should have been filed against the CCP and the concerned SHO. Enter R. Until today, no one knows who the unknown is. If the agencies were not involved, then NADRA would not issue notices to them.
The lawyer told the court that I was there, the police picked them up, it can be seen in the CCTV footage that the police were there.
Justice Ejaz Anwar said that such incidents are being reported daily that such and such a person has been picked up. If the police officers tell the whole truth, the problem will be solved. The police knows everything. If the police performed their duty according to the law, then these problems would not have arisen. The problem is that the police do what they are told.
The lawyer said that 6 months have passed, still we don’t know where they are. Are they alive or not?
The court remarked that the last resort of these people is the court, to which the Additional Advocate General said that our sympathies are with them. Justice Ijaz Anwar said that we sympathize, the rest do nothing, then the Deputy Attorney General said that we can only sympathize, what else can we do.
Later, the court summoned the Federal Interior Secretary and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary for the next hearing.
