Lahore: PCB has decided to upgrade major stadiums.
According to the sources, before hosting the Champions Trophy next year, the work of expansion and decoration of the venues in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi will be completed.
Double-story stands will be constructed to increase capacity in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, work is likely to start here after the New Zealand series.
The National Stadium Karachi will also be upgraded, the final plan will be prepared after Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi’s visit to Karachi, consideration is being given to installing hospitality boxes and fixed chairs in Rawalpindi.
It should be remembered that a few years ago more than two billion rupees were spent on the decoration of the National Stadium.
