The Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to shower money on foreign players during PSL 10.
According to media reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board will pay an additional $100,000 to 6 high-profile foreign players playing PSL 10.
The additional money to foreign players will be paid from the Cricket Board’s special fund. In the PSL draft, the PCB had set the minimum purchase price for each foreign player for franchises at $200,000.
It should be noted that a few years ago, the PSL Governing Council had decided that when the net broadcast revenue of the central pool reaches Rs3 billion, $500,000 will be allocated annually to pay the players.
The additional money could not be used last year, due to which this amount has increased to $1 million. Faisal said that the PCB will use this fund to help pay some elite players.
