In the second T20I match between Pakistan and Ireland, the national cricket team broke its record of hitting the most sixes in a single match.
The second match of the series of 3 T20 matches between Pakistan and Ireland was played in Dublin yesterday. The national team defeated the host team by 7 wickets to level the series 1-1.
Meanwhile, in the second innings of the match, Pakistani batsmen hit the most 16 sixes. Thus, the national team broke its own record of hitting 12 sixes in a T20 match.
Playing for the national team, Fakhar Zaman scored 6, Mohammad Rizwan and Azam Khan scored 4 and 4, while Saeem Ayub hit a six to help the team win against Ireland.
Not only this, Pakistan hit five sixes in the powerplay for the second time in T20 history.
It should be noted that Pakistan had to face defeat in the first T20 match against Ireland. The final and deciding match of the series will be played in Dublin tomorrow.
