Instant messaging application WhatsApp will be disabled on all Android phones running on the KitKat operating system from January 1, 2025.
This move by the company means that all those old devices that were released nine or 10 years ago will not be able to access the app.
The main reason for this move by the Meta sub-platform is to include new features for users in the app, ensure compatibility with modern technology, performance and security.
