The Election Commission has issued a notice to Ali Amin Gandapur for misrepresentation in the annual returns.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has summoned Ali Amin Gandapur to the Election Commission Secretariat in his personal capacity yesterday.
The notice says that Ali Amin Gandapur should appear before the Election Commission and give an explanation regarding the assets.
According to the Election Commission, Ali Amin Gandapur made false statements in the annual returns submitted for the 2024 election.
Earlier, the District and Sessions Courts Islamabad acquitted all the accused including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the case filed in Bani Gala police station.
Civil Judge Qudratullah heard the case, the plaintiff Amir Zaman appeared before the court along with his lawyer Rizwan Azam Abbasi.
The plaintiff told the court that the person injured in the incident is outside the country, the court directed the plaintiff to give his Skype ID. The court directed to record the statement of the person injured as a result of firing through Skype.
The plaintiff’s lawyer told the court that Ali Amin Gandapur was up to 109, he has been compromised, the named accused have also been forgiven.
The court took the statement of the victim Muhammad Waleed online and inquired that he had agreed to this case, to which Muhammad Waleed stated that yes, I have forgiven him in the name of Allah. Later, the court acquitted all the accused including Ali Amin Gandapur.
