PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that there was no discussion with the government on Imran Khan’s release, house arrest or transfer at any stage.
Barrister Gohar said that we only restored contact with the government before November 26, no negotiation process had started with Mohsin Naqvi before November 26, there was never any discussion regarding the offer of the PTI founder to transfer to Bani Gala.
It should be noted that earlier in a TV interview, PTI leader Sherafazal Marwat had claimed that Mohsin Naqvi had offered the PTI founder house arrest on behalf of the government and the establishment.
He had said that the founder was also offered to be released in three weeks or on December 20 if the house arrest offer was rejected, but the situation changed after the November 26 tragedy.
