KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the transport projects are being taken forward and new projects are being launched at the end of this month.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, the provincial minister said that the number of pink buses is being increased on the direction of Faryal Talpur Sahib, so two new routes of pink buses are going to be started in Karachi from April 19.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Orange and Green Line will run free shuttle service for BRT while Mirpur Khas is going to start People’s Bus service on April 20.
He said that an operation is currently going on in the Kacha area in Sindh, the provincial interior minister and the IG of Sindh are still present in the Kacha area, 13 hostages have been rescued in the last 15 days and the police have arrested the Kacha area. Targeted operation is in progress. If the work continues in the same way, the rough conditions will be overcome soon.
