Former Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that as Prime Minister, the army used to listen and believe me, Mohsin Naqvi’s closeness is not hidden from anyone.
In an interview given on social media, he said that when I was in the government, many people felt powerless. Some people even used derogatory words like puppet, but I take responsibility for all my actions then and now.
Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that as the caretaker prime minister, I was given defamatory titles like a puppet, but the army not only listened to me in important meetings but also changed its opinion when the logic was correct.
He said that the present government cannot give the impression that everything is being done by the establishment and they don’t know anything, but there are relevant forums where there is open discussion. Even today I do not understand that the elected government is not given any importance or they are only told.
On the question of making Mohsin Naqvi the interior minister, he said that it also involved the will of the present government and system, otherwise he would not have become the interior minister at all. He is not a part of any party but his closeness is not hidden from anyone. Mohsin Naqvi’s closeness to the leadership of the People’s Party is also clear.
He further said that the problem of Balochistan is not being properly understood in Pakistan. This sense of deprivation is not a sense of identity. There has been a weakness in the communication with the government on the operation determination. It will not be like the old operations because people will not be evacuated from their areas.
