Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi has excused herself from the hearing of the liquor and arms recovery case against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
District and Sessions Courts Islamabad Judge Judicial Magistrate Shaista Khan Kundi heard the liquor and arms recovery case against Ali Amin Gandapur.
The lawyer of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister filed a request for exemption from attendance and said that Ali Amin Gandapur cannot appear in the court today due to his busy schedule, today the state is proving oppressive to us, all the highways are closed.
The court asked that you don’t have a helicopter? The lawyer replied that there are helicopters and aviation will not allow them to land. The judge asked where Ali Amin Gandapur is now, is he in Lahore? The lawyer replied that he cannot go to Lahore.
Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi, while taking the journalists out of the courtroom, said, “Get everyone out, I have to talk to the accused’s lawyer and the prosecutor.”
Later, Judge Shaista Kundi excused herself from hearing the case and sent the case file to the Sessions Judge. The next hearing of the case will be held on October 5 in the session judge’s court.
