Jamaat-e-Islami has accepted the government’s offer of negotiations, a committee comprising the leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami will negotiate with the government.
According to the sources, the government has formed a committee consisting of Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary and Amir Muqam to negotiate with Jamaat-e-Islami.
Sources say that the sit-in of Jamaat-e-Islami will continue until the negotiations between the government and Jamaat-e-Islami are successful.
The workers of Jamaat-e-Islami have started gathering again at Murree Road Liaquat Bagh Chowk, among the workers who spend the night on the road, there is a large number of elderly people along with the youth.
The Murree Road entrance has been blocked to traffic with containers and heavy police presence to provide security for the sit-in.
