KARACHI: ITCN Asia 2024 is expected to generate more than $500 million in investment and business, which will contribute significantly to Pakistan’s economy.
The 25th ITCN Asia will continue till August 29 at Expo Center Karachi.
Leading global and local brands are participating in the three-day event, including 750 companies including Google, TikTok, Microsoft, Odo, Huawei, PTCL, EasyPaisa.
ITCN Asia 2024 will also host the second edition of the World CIO 200 Summit, a global event held in 55 countries.
More than 300 speakers and more than 70 thousand people from different countries will participate in this event, including 350 foreign delegates from 17 countries including Saudi Arabia, China, Singapore, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iran, Egypt, United Arab Emirates etc.
Event Director Umeer Nizam said that Pakistan’s IT sector is developing rapidly with the continuous increase in its exports and the expansion of local companies in different countries.
Global companies are expanding their footprints and partnerships in Pakistan, paving the way for technology transfer to local industries and individuals, participants said.
Organizers said that due to the vision of the government and concerned authorities, the country is improving its economy and governance system on technological milestones through digital transformation.
ITCN Asia provides a platform every year for all stakeholders, from policy makers to global and local tech giants, professionals and thinkers, to set the country’s direction for innovation, growth and economic development.
The 25th ITCN Asia will be presented by Tech Destination Pakistan. It is supported by Ministry of IT and Telecom, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), Federation of Pakistan.
