KARACHI: The 23rd birth anniversary of playback singer Nazia Hassan, who innovated the music industry in Pakistan, is being celebrated today.
Nazia Hassan, who started her artistic journey with music composer Sohail Rana’s TV program ‘Sing Sing Chale’, is included in the list of singers including Ahmed Rushdie, Alamgir and Muhammad Ali Shahki who introduced the fusion of Eastern and Western music.
Nazia Hassan was born on April 3, 1965 in Karachi, received her primary education from Karachi Grammar School and also obtained a law degree from the UK. Opened the doors of fame.
