Washington: ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack on Moscow’s Croix City Hall.
US media have claimed that the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack on Moscow’s Crocus City Hall in a statement posted on social media channels.
In a statement posted by a news agency, ISIS said it attacked a large Christian congregation in the city of Krasnogorsk, on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow, killing and wounding hundreds of people.
On the other hand, a US official told the media that the US has intelligence that corroborates Islamic State’s claims of responsibility and has no reason to doubt those claims.
The U.S. official also confirmed that the U.S. provided information about the possible attack to Russia under the intelligence community’s duty-to-warn requirement.
It should be noted that 40 people were killed and 145 injured in the terrorist attack on Croix Concert Hall in the Russian capital.
