New York: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has said that the IMF agreement will bring stability to the economy.
Federal Minister of Information Attaullah Tarar while holding a press conference said that inflation reaching single digit is a great achievement. Macroeconomic indicators are improving significantly. While overseas Pakistanis received record remittances.

Atta Tarar said that economic indicators are improving due to reduction in interest rates. And the IMF agreement will stabilize the economy. The world has faith in the current leadership of Pakistan.
He said that he had meetings with the DIMF and the President of the World Bank. Stopping the smuggling of dollars stabilized the rupee while some people wanted Pakistan to default. However, flour has come down from Rs.120 to Rs.60 and petrol from Rs.300 to Rs.249. Working on privatization of national airline (PIA).
