Washington: Former US President Donald Trump is facing tough competition from the candidate of the ruling party, Kamala Harris, and he is announcing tax cuts contrary to his mood.
According to the American Broadcasting Corporation, former President and current presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that eliminating the overtime tax will encourage employees to work harder and increase jobs.
Speaking at a rally in Arizona, Donald Trump said the measure would benefit police officers, nurses and factory workers who work more than 40 hours a week, who are the backbone of this country.
Keep in mind that Donald Trump’s tax cut proposals include ending the tax on tips, cutting the corporate tax rate to 15 percent, and extending the income tax cuts in 2017.
However, the former US president did not say how he would implement the plan as the nation’s debt ballooned to $35 trillion.
