A new study has found that two and a half hours of physical activity a week can be important for losing body weight.
The study, published in the journal JAMA Network Open, will review past clinical trials that looked at the effects of exercise on weight loss.
The study found that about 30 minutes of exercise per week was only associated with modest weight loss.
However, more than 150 minutes of aerobic exercise (moderate or vigorous) per week was more effective in losing weight.
Aerobic exercise is a type of physical activity that increases people’s heart rate and makes them sweat for a certain period of time.
