Mumbai: Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan’s health insurance claim documents, who were injured during a robbery, have been leaked on the internet, which has caught the attention of users.
According to reports, a claim of about Rs 35 lakh 95 thousand was made for the treatment expenses of Saif Ali Khan, who is undergoing treatment at Lilavati Hospital, out of which the insurance company “Niva Bappa Health Insurance” has given an initial approval of Rs 25 lakh.
The leaked documents also include sensitive information such as patient ID, room category, and expected discharge date, which has angered internet users over the violation of their privacy.
“We pray for Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s speedy recovery,” a statement issued by Neva Bappa Health Insurance said. “He has been approved for cashless pre-authorization, and after completion of treatment, the final bill will be settled as per the policy. We stand with him in this difficult time.”
Saif Ali Khan was seriously injured in a robbery at his home on the night of January 16. After being rushed to the hospital, doctors declared his condition out of danger. There has been no statement from Saif or his family on the leaked documents.
