ISLAMABAD: Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was again shifted to PIMS Hospital after his health worsened.
The Adiala Jail authorities informed the court after which the Islamabad High Court disposed of the petition to order the transfer of the PTI leader to the hospital.
Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri heard the petition filed against the transfer of Pervaiz Elahi from Pims to Adiala Jail despite the advice of doctors.
Jail authorities said that Pervez Elahi has been transferred to PIMS Hospital yesterday, the court disposed of the petition against the transfer from PIMS to Adiala Jail on the statement of the jail authorities.
Parvez Elahi’s wife had approached the Islamabad High Court and requested that orders be given to transfer Pervez Elahi to PIMS Hospital again.
