LAHORE: A female police officer serving in the Punjab Police has been selected for an international award.
SSP Rifat Bukhari has been selected for the Excellence in Performance Award by the International Association of Women Police in recognition of her outstanding performance.
This award is given every year to a female police officer from around the world in recognition of her exceptional service to her community.
SSP Rifaat Bukhari, a female police officer of Punjab Police, who has made the name of Pakistan, is serving in the Punjab Safe Cities Authority, she has provided outstanding services for the protection of women, arresting criminals with the help of artificial intelligence, intelligent traffic management. Selected for the award for the development of system and road safety mechanism.
President of the International Association of Women Police, Debra Friedel, has written a special letter to SSP Rafat Bukhari to congratulate and express her gratitude for being selected for the global award. He said that your selection is recognition of your services at the global level.
Meanwhile, IG Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar has said that SSP Rafat Bukhari’s outstanding achievement is a source of pride for all police officers, especially women officers. Apart from this, MD Safe Cities Authority has also congratulated SSP Rafat Bukhari.
It should be noted that Rafat Bukhari will be awarded on the occasion of the 61st annual conference of the International Association of Women Police in Chicago (USA) in September this year.
