ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for submission of sales tax returns by 4 days.
According to the notification issued by FBR in this regard, the period for submission of sales tax and federal excise returns has been extended and the last date is April 22 instead of April 18.
Taxpayers can file their sales tax and federal excise duty dues and sales tax and federal excise duty returns by the due date without any penalty or additional surcharge.
In this regard, Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue has also issued instructions to all field formations of FBR.
