ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain says that economic development can be achieved only by increasing exports, so exports must be increased.
A delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with the Federal Minister in Islamabad. Atif Ikram Sheikh President FPCCI led the delegation.
In the meeting, the federal minister said that the government is trying hard to provide relief to the people and businessmen, while the government is establishing special economic zones for investment, we are trying to solve the problems faced by the industry.
President FPCCI Atif Ikram Sheikh said that if the government provides relief in electricity tariff, the business community can achieve the target of 60 billion dollars in exports.
Atif Ikram Sheikh said that energy prices should be brought at par with regional countries, industrialization should be done to get rid of IM and increase domestic exports.
