The security forces foiled the attempt to attack Bannu Cantt, the terrorists first exploded and then opened fire.
According to the sources, at 4:40 am, terrorists in a vehicle tried to enter the cant by detonating an IED on the road between the outer wall of Bannu Cantt and the supply depot. Which was foiled by the security forces by taking timely action.
Eight people, including women and children, were injured as the windows of the houses were broken by the terrorists’ firing.
Sources say that the security forces have started a clearance operation in the area after foiling the attack.
