Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that due to the situation, the budget had to be made together with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while answering the questions related to agriculture tax in the National Assembly, said that due to the current situation of the country, the budget had to be made together with the IMF. There is a positive expectation regarding the IFM programme. If the government receives any response from the IMF, it will share it with the Parliament.
Shahbaz Sharif said that the information about the reduction in expenses will be brought forward in one and a half months. It has been announced to terminate the Pakistan Works Department. In PWD there is monkey sharing hence this decision was taken. All the members know the corruption that happens there.
The prime minister said that the budget and employment quota of South Punjab was high during our regime. In South Punjab, the quota was higher in the laptop scheme, while the quota of CM Employment Scheme was kept 10% higher. Punjab also made those projects with its own resources which were federal projects.
