Islamabad: A nationwide crackdown has been decided against electricity and gas thieves.
Special teams were formed to crack down on electricity and gas thieves on the instructions of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. The Home Minister has given a special task to FIA in this regard.
A meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of the Interior Minister. FIA officials submitted a detailed report on the Yunnan boat accident. Mohsin Naqvi said that all the elements involved in this tragedy must be brought to justice. Action against human traffickers should be ensured so that this scourge can be eradicated.
In a briefing to the meeting, it was said that the action against the people involved in the handi reference has improved the value of the Pakistani rupee. The Home Minister directed the FIA to tighten the cordon against those involved in the Handi reference. The meeting was attended by Home Secretary, Additional DGs and Directors of all regions of Pakistan.
