Peshawar: Faisal Amin, the brother of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has filed a defamation case against the Governor in the session court for accusing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government of corruption.
In the petition, Faisal Amin Gandapur has claimed 50 crores in damages, while a private TV channel and an anchor person have also been made parties in the case.
The petition states that Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has made false allegations in the TV show, Ali Amin is the Chief Minister of Gandapur and the Governor has harmed his dignity, the private channel and its anchor have also taken Ali Amin’s stand. No attempt was made, an apology should be sought from the Chief Minister and Rs 50 crore should be paid as compensation for damaging his reputation.
