Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Saif has said that the conscience sellers will be made a lesson on the constitutional amendments.
In his statement, he said that the constitutional amendment was passed without the representation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Senate. Amending without the representation of a large province is the biggest question mark. The solution to this constitutional conundrum will not be with the constitutional benches created as a result of the controversial amendment.
Barrister Saif said that amending an incomplete parliament is a miracle that no one understands. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government strongly condemns it and will take legal action against it.
The provincial adviser said that the constitutional amendment has paved the way for political interference in the judiciary. If the Chief Justice of Pakistan is appointed by the political government, it is inevitable that the funeral of justice will come out. After the constitutional amendment, decisions in the judiciary will be based on political interests rather than the people.
He further said that subordinating justice to political agenda is treason against the constitution. Contrary to party policy, voters are being identified in constitutional amendments. Both the people and the party will take account of these loots. Conscience sellers will make a lesson.
