International Cricket Council (ICC) pitch consultant Andy Atkinson arrived in Pakistan to review the arrangements ahead of the Champions Trophy 2025 to be held in Pakistan next year.
India’s plot failed, ICC pitch consultant Andy Atkinson arrived in Pakistan on a three-day visit. While there, he reviewed the facilities at the National Stadium Karachi and shared his experience with the local ground staff.
After Karachi, Atkinson will visit Lahore and then Rawalpindi, where the Champions Trophy 2025 matches will be scheduled, the venues were reviewed by a three-member ICC team last month.
The event is planned in February 2025 and the PCB has already shared the draft schedule with the ICC for the matches at these three venues.
The 8-team tournament is expected to last for 2 weeks but the dates have not been finalized yet.
