The Sindh High Court has ordered the husband of the accused in the car accident case to submit a security bond of 50,000.
The petitioner, through his lawyer Aamir Munsoob Qureshi Advocate, submitted a bail application making the government a party. In which it was held that the accused is in jail and the husband of the accused has also been named in this case.
The lawyer of the petitioner said that the police were raiding the house and other places to arrest the client. The said accident vehicle is registered in the name of the company and the investigating officer called for the documents of the vehicle through letter which were provided to him.
The lawyer said that the police is harassing the petitioner by sending another letter for nefarious purposes. The main purpose of approaching the court is to grant bail to the client so that he can appear in the trial court.
The lawyer added that there were serious concerns that the petitioner would be arrested before appearing in court.
Later, Sindh High Court Single Bench Chief Justice Muhammad Saleem Jaisar granted 7-day protective bail and directed the petitioner to appear before the trial court by September 4.
