ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has said that PTI has conducted good intra-party elections compared to all political parties. .
Speaking to the media outside the Election Commission office in Islamabad, he said that the PTI intra-party case was heard in the Election Commission today. We had already answered the jurisdictional and legal questions of the Election Commission. The commission is prevented from passing the final order, we filed a petition in the Lahore High Court that this is not the jurisdiction of the action commission, we hope this issue will be resolved now.
Barrister Gohar said that we have fulfilled whatever the Election Commission asked us, we have submitted the answers to the legal questions raised by the Election Commission, we have given all the documents requested by the Election Commission, PTI has submitted all the documents. As compared to the political parties, good inter-party elections were held, the Supreme Court’s decision regarding specific seats came, in which our inter-party elections were also recognized.
He said that the decision of the Supreme Court said that these are our MNAs, we should have got specific seats, we also filed an application in the Lahore High Court. Issuance of orders is prohibited.
They consider all the processes of constitutional amendments as illegal, so they have decided to boycott the parliamentary committee.
Barrister Gohar said that names were asked for the parliamentary committee till seven o’clock, the political committee decided that what happened was illegal, he also said on the floor of the assembly that we did not agree to anything, the political committee decided that We will not be a part of this process, we consider all processes as illegal. Committee has decided to boycott.
He said that there was never a proposal for the establishment of constitutional benches at the provincial level in the special committee, the establishment of constitutional benches at the provincial level has come up suddenly.
