The Peshawar High Court has accepted the request of Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur to give his lawyer time to prepare in the asset case.
In the High Court, a petition against the Election Commission’s notice to Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur in the assets case was heard.
The election commission lawyer said that he issued a notice that you come and have a cup of tea with us, and nothing else was written.
The lawyer said that he has land near Gomal Dam, which he cannot legally take, this is his case, Ali Amin is saying that he has sold the land and now he is not the owner of it, whereas it is 735 kanal land. And the person named Asif was a benamidar.
Malik Akhtar Hussain Advocate said that I have received the file today, I will submit the representation in this case, give me some time.
Granting the respite request of Ali Amin’s lawyer, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till December 17.
Disqualification proceedings are ongoing against Ali Amin for misrepresentation in annual returns and concealment of assets.
His opponent candidate filed a petition in NAB against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on charges of non-disclosure of financial assets, according to which Ali Amin owned 735 kanals of land but he did not disclose that land in the returns.
