Tehran: Iran arrested several military and intelligence officers after the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
According to the American newspaper “New York Times”, several Iranian intelligence and military officers have been detained in connection with the investigation of the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas. According to the military sources of Iran, the employees of the Iranian guest house where Ismail Haniya was staying have also been arrested.
According to the American newspaper, the murderous attack on Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran is a big question mark for Iran’s security and this is the reason why the special intelligence team of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards is investigating the matter. Ismail Haniyeh was martyred in Tehran on July 31 when he was present in Tehran for the swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Al-Maghdiyan.
