California: Technology company Apple has released iOS 17.5 update for its iPhone users. The latest update introduces several features including security patches.
After the introduction of iOS 17.5, Apple will allow EU users to download apps from developers’ websites. Apple has also posted an online guide that can help developers distribute their apps.
Apple wrote in a post that website-approved, non-Marketplace apps can be sold in eligible territories. To distribute the app is to fill out a web form which once approved will allow Apple to download a frame that will support secure installation of the app from the website.
To download the update, users need to go to the phone’s settings, go to General, Software Update and select Update Now.
