Mumbai: Famous Bollywood filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap has come out in defense of violent scenes in Bollywood movies.
According to Indian media, in a recent interview, the filmmaker said that formula type films are often made in Bollywood, but when some different ideas are made, good results are obtained.
Anurag Kashyap termed the stories of the film ‘Barahue Fail’ and ‘Lappata Ladies’ as the best and called the newly released film ‘Kill’ a unique effort.
The film director said that ‘Kill’ is a different kind of action film and its violent scenes are being criticized like ‘Maharaja’ which is not true.
Anurag Kashyap said that in Bollywood, a huge amount of capital is spent on unnecessary expenses and the film stage takes the form of a tour.
