PESHAWAR: Another flight carrying students stranded in Kyrgyzstan reached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details, the process of repatriation of Pakistani students stuck in Kyrgyzstan is still going on. A special flight carrying 300 students arrived at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan Airport late at night. Parents and relatives were present at the airport to welcome the students.
It should be noted that a day ago, 346 students returned home from Kyrgyzstan through two flights. A special flight arrived at New Islamabad International carrying 171 students. Where Senator Mossadegh Malik welcomed the students.
A special desk at the airport and transportation arrangements for the students were made by the Civil Aviation Authority.
The second flight carrying 175 students from Bishkek landed at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, where Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar welcomed the returning students.
Rejecting the government’s claim of free repatriation, the students had said that each student had paid Rs 90,000 to 92,000 as travel expenses.
