Washington: Spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, said that the United States is committed to working closely with Pakistan to combat the common threat of terrorism.
According to a foreign news agency, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said during a press briefing that Pakistan suffered heavy losses at the hands of terrorists. Loss of life in Pakistan due to terrorism is regrettable.
He said that he offers heartfelt condolences to those affected by terrorism. Committed to working together to combat the common threat of terrorism.
Matthew Miller said that he is in contact with Pakistan on immigration and resettlement of Afghan refugees in the United States. Pakistan seeks cooperation in implementation of important mechanism of security screening of refugees.
He said that he will continue to work with the government of Pakistan to resolve the problems and concerns.
