Washington: The United States has condemned the terrorist incident while expressing grief over the death of 5 Chinese engineers in a suicide bombing in Pakistan.
According to the World News Agency, the spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, has said that he is deeply saddened by the death and injuries of people in the suicide attack. Heartfelt condolences to the affected people.
Spokesman Matthew Miller asked the journalist in the weekly briefing that 5 Chinese engineers were killed in a suicide bombing in Pakistan. Does America have the same opinion about countries doing joint ventures with China as it does with Iran? Especially regarding CPEC?
To which the spokesman Matthew Miller replied that we condemn the attack on the Chinese engineers and express our sorrow and heartfelt condolences to the victims. Pakistani people have suffered a lot at the hands of terrorists. No country should be a victim of terrorist acts.
However, spokesperson Matthew Miller refrained from answering the question regarding CPEC and said that I will not say anything other than condemning the incident at this time.
