Gaza: A top Israeli army officer was killed during fighting in Gaza.
The Israeli military says the commander of the 401st Armored Brigade, Col. Ihsan Daqsa, 41, was killed Sunday during fighting in northern Gaza.
The IDF says that Colonel Ehsan Daqsa was killed by an explosive device during an operation against Hamas in Jabaliya. Two other officers, including the battalion commander, were also injured in the incident.
According to the Zionist media, a total of 6 Israeli colonels have been killed since the start of the Gaza war, of which four were killed on October 7.
