Important progress in the cases under hearing in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, a 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa disposed of 46 cases in 5 days.
Most of the cases disposed of were pending in the Supreme Court for 15 years. From April 22 to 26, 49 cases were scheduled for hearing at the Supreme Court Registry.
These cases were related to civil, criminal, recruitment of employees on contract and land. The Chief Justice also ordered the end of encroachments outside buildings, on highways and footpaths.
It should be noted that the Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faiz Isa visited Mazar-e-Quaid in Karachi. On this occasion, along with Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, his wife Serena Isa was also present.
The Chief Justice was saluted by the Pakistan Navy contingent, the Chief Justice placed flowers at Mazar-e-Quaid and after the recitation of Fatiha, he wrote his comments in the guest book at Mazar-e-Quaid.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan wrote in his comments that it is a matter of pride for me that as the Chief Justice I have attended the mausoleum of the great leader of Asia, it is a matter of pride for me to attend the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
He wrote that Jinnah is the great leader under whose passionate leadership Muslims succeeded in establishing an Islamic state in the subcontinent.
The ideology of Pakistan can be maintained only through tolerance, partnership, democratic behavior, which was dreamed by Quaid-e-Azam and his friends, which was based on his principles, organization, unity and firm belief.
