LONDON: For the first time in the history of Britain, an open iftar was organized at the royal castle of Windsor, in which 350 Muslims participated.
The iftar was held in the hall of St. George’s Castle, which is reserved for state guests.
According to British media, this was the first time that an iftar was organized for Muslims in the history of Windsor Castle. Before the iftar, the call to prayer for Maghrib was also given in the castle, which further increases the importance of this moment.
The participants thanked King Charles and said that this initiative will promote interfaith harmony.
