Nepra has reduced the electricity price for government Discos and K-Electric users by up to 75 paise as part of the fuel charges adjustment.
Nepra has reduced the price for Discos users by 75 paise per unit as part of the November fuel adjustment, while for K-Electric users, the reduction has been 49 paise per unit as part of the October fuel adjustment. This benefit will be transferred to the users in January bills.
According to Nepra, the adjustment will be applicable to all users except Lifeline users, domestic users using up to 300 units, electric vehicle charging stations, prepaid users and agricultural users.
Nepra has also decided to reduce the fuel charges adjustment for K-Electric users by 49 paise per unit for October, which will provide a total benefit of Rs 843 million to K-Electric users, which will be transferred to the users in January electricity bills.
