Peshawar: PTI leader Asad Qaiser has said that it is regrettable for the Supreme Court to allow cases of civilians in military courts.
Talking to media representatives at the High Court, Asad Qaiser said that we want an independent judiciary, we want the rule of law in this country. It is regrettable for the Supreme Court to allow cases of civilians in military courts.
He said that he is also sorry for the cases that the state has registered against us. We had talks yesterday, we have put forward 3 points. We have talked about the treatment of the workers, the release of the arrested persons. In addition, we have demanded a judicial inquiry into the incidents of May 9 and November 24.
Asad Qaiser said that we are against pressure on the courts, we want decisions to be taken freely in the court. At this time, the matter has been put before the nation, there is no guarantee.
He said that all the cases against Imran Khan are revengeful. We only want justice. So many cases have been made that the importance of important cases has been lost. Cases of terrorism, murder and treason have been registered against parliamentarians.
The PTI leader said that he was disappointed with the decision to hear the cases of civilians in the military court. Peaceful protest is the right of every citizen. No worker of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has broken even a single flowerpot. Our struggle is for the supremacy of the constitution and law.
