Microsoft Teams is going to introduce a new interpreter feature for its users, using which each party will be able to speak or listen to the language of their choice.
Interpreter in Teams will be able to convert voice into different languages during meetings using a real-time AI-powered speech-to-speech translation.
A preview of this feature will be introduced in early 2025, which will include nine languages, and the interpreter feature will translate these languages into the user’s voice.
The introduction of this feature is part of a series of AI changes coming to Microsoft Teams.
A meeting transcription feature will also be introduced soon, which will be able to provide transcription in 31 languages during meetings.
