Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that maintaining law and order is essential for the country’s development and in this regard, the progress of Karachi Safe City Project Phase One is very good.
DG Sindh Safe City Authority Asif Ijaz Sheikh presented a report on Phase One of Karachi Safe City Project to the Sindh Chief Minister, in which it was informed that 157 out of 300 pole sites have been successfully installed across the city, while 20 poles are active for this work.
The Sindh Chief Minister said that under the Safe City Project, all the cities of the province will be made completely safe in phases. Our aim is to protect the public and bring criminals to justice.
In the briefing, the Chief Minister was informed that 100 cameras are working and being monitored from the CPO Control Room and Sindh Safe City Authority Headquarters, 5 Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) are equipped and ready for deployment.
The installation of equipment for the command center is underway while a monitoring room has been set up at the Sindh Safe City Authority Headquarters.
The Chief Minister Sindh said that the security of the Ideas 2024 event is very important for us. The system is fully functional for better monitoring of security around Sharaa Faisal, Expo Center, Airport and Civic Center.
