Technology company Apple introduced its new Mac mini. Half the size of its previous model, the machine is the company’s smallest computer to date.
According to Apple, this new Mac is only five by five inches wide and is equipped with the company’s recently released M4 chip.
Apple’s hardware boss, John Terence, said that the computer offers great performance in an incredibly small design, thanks to the power efficiency of Apple silicon and the new thermal architecture.
According to the company, the new Mac Mini is Apple’s first completely carbon-neutral computer, and it had to reduce carbon emissions by 80 percent. This reduction includes not only its manufacturing process, but also its shipping and consumer use.
Mac Mini was first introduced by Apple in 2005. It was later introduced to move people away from PCs by allowing Apple computers to be used with an external display, keyboard and mouse.
