BEIRUT: Israeli Air Force fighter jets fired at security checkpoints in the Syrian capital from the Golan and northern Lebanon.
According to Arab media, in these attacks, Israel targeted 2 check posts in Kufrsusa region of Syria and one check post in Homs.
One Syrian soldier was killed and 7 wounded in the Israeli attacks, while a large amount of weapons and ammunition of the Syrian army stationed there were also destroyed.
It should be remembered that a vehicle was targeted in an air attack by Israel on Monday in Damascus, in which 2 civilians were killed and 3 were injured.
The Israeli army claimed that a senior Hezbollah leader was killed in the attack on the vehicle.
At the beginning of October this month, Israel targeted at least 4 civilians, including Hassan Nasr’s son-in-law, in an area of Syria.
