Mumbai: Bollywood star Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Karan Rao’s film ‘Missing Ladies’ has won a big award.
According to Indian media, the Film Federation of India announced that the film ‘Missing Ladies’ has been nominated for the International Film category at the Oscars 2025.
The report said that Aamir Khan’s production ‘Missing Ladies’ has been selected among 12 Hindi films, 6 Tamil and 4 Malayalam films.
Earlier, Karan Rao while talking to Indian media said that if his film gets nominated for Oscar awards, then his dream will come true.
Karan Rao said that I hope that the management of Oscar Awards will consider the film ‘Laptha Ladies’ and surely the best film will be selected.
Based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami, the film ‘Lapata Ladies’ stars Pratibha Raanta, Sparash Shrivastava, and Nitanshi Goyal in stellar performances.
The film tells the story of a man whose bride gets lost during a train journey when he brings another bride home after being unrecognizable due to a mask.
It should be noted that the movie ‘Missing Ladies’ released in theaters on March 1 this year was produced by Aamir Khan, Karan Rao and Jyoti Deshpande.
