Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that commitment to stability is being misunderstood, misunderstandings and unnecessary discussions should be eliminated.
According to the announcement of the Prime Minister’s House, the Prime Minister has said that the recently announced vision of stability is being misunderstood. It is being compared to previous operations like Zarb Azab and Rah Nejat.
Shahbaz Sharif says that the previous operations were conducted in places that had become no-go areas, at present there are no such no-go areas in the country. Vision Resolute Stability is a multi-faceted vision for lasting peace and stability in Pakistan.
He said that because the terrorists have been decisively defeated. No large-scale military operation that would require population displacement is currently being contemplated.
The prime minister said that the purpose of the commitment to stability is to further mobilize armed operations based on the intelligence already underway. The unholy presence of remnants of terrorists, their facilitation of crime and terrorist nexus and violent extremism in the country will be decisively rooted out.
He further said that this positive initiative initiated by political consensus should be welcomed and misunderstandings and unnecessary debate on the subject should be eliminated.
