According to the report of the Arab media, along with humans, robots are also engaged in providing water and providing information to the pilgrims. The Saudi Ministry of Health has deployed robots in Makkah and Madinah.
Before providing the information, the robots ask the person in which language they would prefer to hear the answer and then provide the information in the specified language. The robots are providing information on health and safety to the pilgrims as well as providing water services.
The Saudi Ministry has said that the purpose of the smart robot service is to broadcast educational messages and health advice in more than 96 languages for the safety and awareness of pilgrims from around the world.
